Whether it's a keepsake or a gift, each piece is carefully painted to turn your pet into piece that is timeless, personal and memorable. If you would like to inquire, please email me with reference photos and include if there will be multiple subjects. This will help me suggest size options, layout, and prices and create mockups accordingly. My goal is to offer you a range of options that fit different price points. Prices vary depending on complexity.

Commission Process

  1. Inquiry: Welcome to the exciting first step of the commission process! Please take a look at my gallery and think about how you would like to capture your pet. Once you have an idea, please contact me to initiate your commission. I will promptly respond to discuss your specific requirements, including any additional requests such as multiple subjects or background details. Based on our discussion, I will provide you with a quote and estimated completion date. Please note that completion date is subject to my current workload, so if the portrait is intended as a gift for a special occasion, I recommend reaching out well in advance.

  2. Size and Photo References: Please choose a few of your favorite photos of your pet that you think would make a lovely portrait. While you can send as many as you'd like, 3-5 would be ideal. Please ensure good quality so that I can provide you with a lifelike representation of your little guy. I work primarily from one main photograph, so please let me know your favorite one. Having additional references is incredibly helpful.

  3. Deposit and Getting Started: Once we have settled on the photographs and final price for the portrait, a 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the portrait, but only once you are completely satisfied with the artwork. I will provide you with a start date for the portrait and an estimated completion time, which can range depending on size and complexity of the piece.

  4. Portrait Completion and Shipping: I will keep you updated with frequent photos from start to finish. If you have any minor adjustments or requests, I will be happy to make those changes, within reason, at no extra cost. Once the artwork is completed, I will send you a final photo for your approval. Once you are satisfied, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. I will then carefully package and ship your portrait, ensuring it arrives safely and in perfect condition. You will receive a tracking link once the package is on the way!
